The SmartGlass™ line of high performance glass is offered exclusively by C-Thru Sunrooms. SmartGlass™ offers some of the highest levels of energy efficiency, blocking out more solar heat and UV radiation. Even when placed in front of a powerful heat lamp, SmartGlass™ glass blocks out most of the lamp's heat and UV radiation. This means that SmartGlass™ glass keeps you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter compared to regular glass or standard "Low-E" glass. All SmartGlass™ units have the DuraLite™ option standard.
SmartGlass30™ is a high performance single glass, which performs better than many dual glass units.
SmartGlass60™ is C-Thru's high performance dual glass unit, with a specialized internal coating to block out extreme heat and cold. Available for wall, window, and roof glass.
SmartGlass90™ is one of the highest performing dual glass units on the market today and is available for roof glass only.
Thermal Barrier
Aluminum is a strong, high-quality metal, but it conducts heat and cold very easily. A thermal barrier provides a unique solution by isolating your sunroom from the outside temperatures. This dramatically reduces the heat and cold transfer between the inside and outside of the room, while maintaining a strong aluminum structure.

Beam Roof Roof System
C-Thru's beam roof system does what sunroom is supposed to do best: it lets the sunlight in! Its structural rafters allow for the maximum amount of glass coverage while maintaining a stiff and safe roof system. If an all-glass roof is not for you, The 50/50 option allows you to get a roof that's 50% solid and 50% glass, which is the perfect combination to let just the right amount of sunlight in.

Roof Shutters
If you can't decide between a glass roof or a solid roof on your sunroom, roof shutters are the perfect way to get the best of both worlds. Just roll down the shutters during the day to block out the heat, and roll them back up to gaze at the stars at night.
