APPENDIX A: Glass Compatibility Chart

With the introduction of C-Thru’s new SmartGlass line of high performance glass, C-Thru is providing the followinglisting of glass types which you can source locally which should be highly compatible in appearance andperformance to our new SmartGlass offerings. This listing should be used when a dealer wishes to obtain locallyavailable custom-sized glass units or glass for use in trapezoid areas.

SmartGlass 30

Locally Available Alternate: 1/8" single pane green glass

There four different manufacturers who supply local glass shops and local temperers and all are close enoughin aesthetic appearance that they can be used interchangeably.

SmartGlasstm 60

Locally Available Alternate: 1/8" Cardinal 170 Low-e over 1/8" Clear.

SmartGlasstm 90
Locally Available Alternate: 3/16" Cardinal 140 over 3/16" Green

C-Thru recommends against the use of this locally available alternative due to possibly high local costs and thelikelihood that our EZ Clean feature will not be available on locally available glass.
That could create potential complaints from clients not understanding why some of their glass doesn't shed wateras well as that which came from C-Thru. Instead we would suggest using combinations of our standard sizedSmartGlass 90 roof glass and minimum fill at the ridge to minimize the costs for your project.

Alpha system walls: ½" overall
Omega system walls: ¾" overall
Alpha / Omega Roof: 15/16" overall

Note: C-Thru strongly recommends that dealers take a sample of the SmartGlass. product they wish to matchto their local supplier and view locally available products side by side. The listing of locally available alternateglass types shown above is a suggested listing only. Final determination of aesthetically compatible alternateglass types is ultimately the responsibility of the dealer. C-Thru also recommends that any custom glass orderedlocally be ordered as tempered over tempered to comply with applicable building codes.
